Lauro Prickly Pear & Pineapple Margarita 🌵 🍍 It's here! The first cocktail for my collaboration with Lauro Sparkling Cactus Water, a new, Arizona-based company.
I used this yummy prickly pear beverage to create a refreshing marg - perfect for the summer.
Here's how to make it:
Ingredients:
-1/2 ounce of lime juice
-1 ounce of pineapple juice
-1 ounce of tequila
-1/2 ounce of Grand Marnier
-Three thin slices of jalapeno, plus more for garnish - only if you want it spicy!
-4 ounces of Lauro
-For garnish, optional: Salt, Tajin, lime slices, jalapeno slices, pineapple chunks
To make:
Add the lime juice, pineapple juice, tequila, and Grand Marnier to a shaker. If you want to make it spicy, add the three jalapeno slices and muddle in. Fill the shaker half-way with ice and shake.
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a highball glass and dip the rim in salt and Tajin, if desired. Tajin will make it extra spicy.
Fill the glass half-way with ice and add the contents of the shaker. Top with Lauro and stir. Garnish with lime slices, jalapeno slices, and pineapple chunks, if desired.
